Aviation Day 2003
Over 160 Young Eagles Flown. So many that we have 69 signed registration forms for future flights.
Ten Pilots participated: Brousseau, Ted - Colcombe, Stan - Ellis, Ken - Jansen, Jens - Lamb, Mike -Mullen, Doug - Munn, Bob -
Nice, William Johnson, Paul - Snyder, Lamar.
Eight (8) aircraft 1 Pietenpol, 2 Cessna 172, 1 Cessna 175, 1 Cessna 210, 1 Piper PA28, ! Piper PA32 and 1 Beech C23.
Handling paper work, Registration, assignment of pilots, filling out the YE's Certificates, KID control , Marianne Mulder, Frank and Ethel Myers ( my sister). Bob Young( friend), Nancy Horne, Lou Amato and Lynn, Barb Ellis .
Prop spinners and ramp control JD Horne and Dennis Byron.
Runner etc. ---Doug Mullen's son. He was the only one with good enough legs for that job and did what ever else he was asked to do.
And of course Ted Soliday parking planes, I told him those signals he was giving made me think I was a naval pilot landing on a carrier.
Everyone was taking pictures. Hope I did not miss somebody.
